My New Life
My New Life
New Companion: Married life is sooooo wonderful. I am now married to the love of my life, he is amazing. I should have thought of this sooner. :)
New Job: I just got a job in an the infant pediatrics unit in Banner Childrens hospital in Mesa and had my first night shift last night. I think it will be a good job, especially to learn more about taking care of sick infants. Night shifts are killer. It is also new to me, coming from the adult ICU, to hear crying infants all night.
New Calling: I also just got a new calling as the Young Women's President of my ward; kinda crazy. After being in a singles ward for 10 years I forgot such a program existed. So they kinda just threw me in and I don't even know who the young women are in this new ward of mine or what in the world I am doing, but I am sure I will figure it out and have fun. Mutal activities, personal program, Youth Conferences & girl's camp again would be awesome!
New Educational Opportunities: Also, Kent just got accepted to ASU's Doctorate program in Educational Technology which he will start in the Fall after he finishes his masters. So it looks like we will be in Arizona for at least the next 4 years. Yea Arizona. Good thing I have family here or I don't know what I would do. I also got accepted to ASU's Master's program in Nursing Education. Still debating whether to do it though or not.
New Place to Live: Kent and I live in a cute litte one room apt in Scottsdale. It is in the most perfect location, close to ASU, around the corner from a huge park with lakes and fields and frezbee golf courses, and about 15 mins from Grandma. We just finished unpacking and organizing our cute apt and I can't figure out what to do with all this frig space after living in a student apt for so long. :)
