Europe

I decided to take a two week trip to Europe before I get married to visit Gabe and Jane Ann and to do some family history. It was an amazing trip and the best part about it was the opportunity to spend time with Gabe and Jane Ann. Paris was neat, we almost got stuck on the Effiel Tower, and Pisa's leaning tower was interesting but the best part of Pisa are the members who live there, church was great. It got more exciting when we got to Lucca and hit the archives, read through the old records for names and dates of the ancestors, took a train to looking for the Masa Diocese, tracked down a priest in the mountains looking for records, and ended up late at night on a marble quarry. We then went to the Alp's to stay with our distant cousins who took us skiing. Went to the Switzerland temple with the French young single adult group. Then headed back to Gabe and Jane Ann's city of Nancy France where I got to see Gabe direct a baptismal service and Jane Ann teach the Y.W. lesson and give and talk at church all in French. We are cheese, crepes, and so much good food. It was a truely amazing trip and I couldn't of asked for a better time. And it kept getting better as I got to come home to my amazingly wonderful fiancee whom I will marry next week!
